Sarah joined PWB Lawyers in 2025, having worked with other Hobart law firms after moving from her hometown of Darwin in early 2021. Sarah advises and represents clients in property settlements, parenting matters, financial agreements, including agreements before marriage or cohabitation, and divorce. She regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia. Sarah previously practised in the Northern Territory, following her admission as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in 2017 and to the High Court of Australia in 2019. Her practice has predominantly been in family law, with earlier experience in both family and criminal law in the Northern Territory. She graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and International Studies, in 2015 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2016. While practising in the Northern Territory, Sarah was elected president of the Northern Territory Young Lawyers Committee and served as the Territory’s representative on the Law Council of Australia’s Young Lawyers Committee. Sarah won the Tasmanian Golden Gavel in 2023 and was recognised by her peers as a Family Law Rising Star in the 2024 and 2025 editions of Doyle’s Guide.
