Megan Ayliffe

Megan was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1977.

She began her professional career as an assistant Parliamentary Counsel and then in 1979, with her husband, began the legal practice of Ayliffe & Ayliffe where she successfully practised commercial law for some 25 years until 2005.

Since then she has broadened and developed her legal and commercial skills in various Hobart legal firms.

Megan is now employed as a Commercial and Property lawyer at PWB Lawyers. Her clients include business owners, shopping complex operators, non-profit organisations, property developers and residential home owners. Her areas of expertise include residential and commercial conveyancing, business advice, Probate, Estate Planning including Wills and Testamentary Trusts, and Powers of Attorney, leasing and subdivisions.

Megan is married with 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys reading, travelling, gardening, cooking and fitness.

She is a member of the Board of St Vincent’s Industries.
