Mary Anne Ryan

After 20 years of practise as a neurological nurse Mary Anne graduated from the University of Tasmania with an Honours degree in Law in 2001. Following graduation Mary Anne was an employed solicitor with a Hobart firm before opening her own practise in 2005.
Mary Anne practises principally in the areas of Family Law, De Facto Law, Child Protection and Criminal Law and brings to PWB Lawyers extensive Family Law experience, including appearance as Counsel in complicated Family Court matters.
Mary Anne is enrolled in the Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) through the College of Law, Sydney. She is President of Australian Women Lawyers, is a board member of the Hobart Women’s Shelter, President of Tasmanian Women Lawyers, committee member of Family Law Practitioners Association of Tasmania, member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of the Law Council of Australia and member of the Medico-Legal Society of Tasmania.
